Chaga (Inonotus Obliquus) is a mushroom most commonly found on birch trees. Different from other mushrooms, it grows its sclerotium or mycelium on the outside of the tree, instead of fruiting bodies. Chaga mushrooms are most impressive for their antioxidant content. Chaga mushrooms are low in calories, very high in fiber and free of fat, sugar, and carbohydrates.
